in memory of her husband, Charles, this building
originally serves as a library with town offices

of years it was the town hall and since 1991 has
been the Flint Memorial Library."

The David Damon Tavern
North Reading, MA
"Built
in 1812 by Ebenezer Damon for his brother, this
building was originally a halfway stop on the Boston
to Haverhill travel route. It was also the town's
first post office and telephone switchboard. For
a number of years it housed the town library and
now holds private offices."
